It’s springtime! Let all the fun spring festivities begin. We absolutely love the longer days of sunshine. Not to mention we also love the tulips, daffodils, and flowering trees that brighten our days.
Dr. Mary Rose will be going to see two more National parks this spring. She will be going to Shenandoah and Cuyahoga. Lucie will also be heading out on a fun trip this spring to Sedona, Arizona, for some spring hiking. We are so envious of these amazing trips everyone is taking this coming season.
In the springtime, we all like to get out and plan fun activities. Both the Albuquerque Isotopes and New Mexico United will be returning within the next few months and we have so many team members looking forward to attending these games.
But before we get ahead of ourselves with the spring excitement, we must celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th! Did you know that St. Patrick’s Day is named the friendliest day of the year? It’s ironic considering all the pinches people will be getting for not wearing green. But don’t worry about us, every year all of us at Twohig Dentistry wear our green scrubs.
Locally, the Good Shepherd Center has a corned beef and cabbage dinner to raise money for the homeless. Reach out to us to see how you can help a cause that means so much to us.
And of course, with spring comes spring cleaning, specifically cleaning your teeth. Lucie recommends brushing a full 2 minutes with a manual or electric toothbrush. She prefers electric and also likes using soft pics daily as well. In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day Melissa says, "If you're lucky enough to have teeth - brush them twice daily with fluoride toothpaste and don't forget to floss!”
We hope to see you at your next appointment to hear about your spring plans!
