Celebrating National Dog Day with Cosmo!

At Twohig Dentistry we couldn’t imagine celebrating National Dog Day without appreciating our wonderful dog Cosmo! Cosmo is a nine-year-old blue heeler. There’s no happier dog than Cosmo. One of our favorite things about Cosmo is that he is always in the present moment with us, constantly joyful and so accepting of everyone. The best part about having a furry companion like Cosmo is that he's always SO enthusiastic to see us and ready for the next adventure in life! He keeps us in good spirits.

We definitely planned well ahead for a new fur baby. At the time that sweet Cosmo joined our family we had Bella and Benito and looked for an Italian name that would suit the new kid! One of our favorite funny Cosmo moments is the joy he gets out of unwrapping his presents on Christmas. He really enjoys getting through the many layers of tissue to discover his gift! It’s absolutely priceless to watch. We spend time with Cosmo when running errands in the car, going to his job with Sherm, a lot of walks, playing ball or frisbee, and splashing around in the pool!

On National Dog Day we will celebrate with ice cream and brushing our teeth afterwards (of course). Also, we will be making a donation to one of our favorite charities-- Best Friends Animal Society! We hope everyone has a wonderful National Dog Day celebrating with their beloved furry companion!
